A patio you can close in or open up
The pergola sits on a light paved patio at the back of the house, with a dark grey frame and a louvred roof overhead. What makes this one different is the glass. Sliding glass doors run along the sides, and they change how the space works depending on the day.
Close the glass and you get a more sheltered spot to sit in, without losing the daylight or the view of the garden. Slide it back and the space opens up again, with fresh air and a more relaxed, open feel. It's the same pergola, but it can feel like two different rooms.
Lighting for the darker evenings
As the nights draw in, lighting matters more. This pergola has LED lighting built into the frame, which the video shows in a few different colours. It turns the patio into somewhere you can use after dark as well, whether that's a late dinner or a quiet drink later on.
The louvres can be turned to let in more light when the sun's out, or closed when the weather turns.
