How it sits in the garden
The pergola runs along the back of the house, covering the paved patio between the doors and the lawn. Its dark frame stands out against the warm stone walls, and the clean lines of the louvred roof keep it looking neat rather than heavy. Glass panels on steel posts run along the edge of the patio, so the space feels sheltered without hiding the garden.
A closer look underneath
From below, you can see the roof blades lined up across the frame and a strip of blue LED lighting along its edge. The louvres can be angled to let the light in or closed over for shelter when the weather turns, which is exactly why a louvred roof makes sense in a Lancashire garden.
32 square metres, still a blank canvas
8 × 4m works out at 32m² of covered space. When the video was filmed, the area underneath was still empty, ready for the owners to put their own stamp on it.
